If you are unable to train and attend the Club for a period, you can request a temporary suspension of your subscription free of charge. This solution is designed to allow you to resume when you are ready, without losing a single day of your subscription.
• In which cases can you suspend your subscription for free?
As provided in our general subscription conditions, you can request a temporary suspension for the following reasons:
- pregnancy, serious injury or illness
- relocation for work reasons to a province where there is no Virgin Active Club
- loss of permanent employment
You will just need to provide documentation confirming your temporary inability to attend the Club to suspend your subscription for free and ensure you recover the unused time.
• How does the free suspension work?
You can request this suspension only once per contract period and the duration varies depending on your subscription:
- with OPEN FLEXI plans: you can suspend for 1 month
- with OPEN 12 plans (and similar plans): for a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 6 consecutive months
During the suspension:
- no monthly fee will be charged to you
- the suspended time will be recovered at the end of the subscription
- the expiry date of your subscription will be postponed by the same duration.
• How to request the suspension?
You can request the temporary and free suspension:
- at Reception, by submitting documentation that proves your temporary inability to attend the Club.
